We have two world-class gyms on campus. Gym membership also gives you free access to fitness classes and our swimming pool.

Staff Sport

There are a variety of sport sessions especially for Staff and Postgraduate students. These are fun and friendly sessions designed to bring people together and to get active.

Sports facilities

Throughout the campus there are courts and pitches which can be booked so you can get together with friends and colleagues to play the sport of your choice.

I had my gym induction today at Holywell Fitness Centre – absolutely brilliant! I’m finally getting back into a proper training regime after a really frustrating injury. The staff were really attentive and have devised a programme which I am really looking forward to beginning.

Adult swimming lessons

Our pool is designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of users, from the world’s most elite swimmers to staff and campus partners looking for a leisurely swim. We also offer children’s and adult swimming lessons.

Free to join and no need to book! The My Lifestyle programme has been specifically designed to cater for those who want to exercise, keep fit and play sport for fun in an environment free from competition, expectation and commitment.

Physiotherapy clinic

With all the sport available on campus it’s always useful to know about our Physiotherapy Clinic. Based in our performance centre it is open to everyone and specialises in physiotherapy, sports injury, massage and podiatry.
