Important Information about Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é International Athletics: Sunday 18 May

Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é is proud to be hosting the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é International Athletics (LIA) event on Sunday, 18 May 2025.

Widely recognised as the curtain raiser to the outdoor season, this is an action-packed day of first-class athletics hosted at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium on campus. Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é athletes will compete against teams representing England, Wales, Scotland, Great Britain and Northern Ireland Under 20s and the National Athletics League.

As a significant sports event with a high number of spectators expected, campus users should be aware of the following information:

Car park closures on Friday 16 May – Saturday 17 May:

• Car Park 15 – closed for catering village

Car park closures on Sunday 18 May:

• HIPAC Upper Car Park – restricted access to selected Officials and Event Workforce only
• Car Park 8 – restricted access to selected Officials and Event Workforce only
• Car Park 15 – closed for catering village

Spectators will be directed to park in the following car parks:

• Car Park 5
• Car Park 9
• Brockington/Schofield
• Car Park 13/14
• Chemistry
• Wavy Top
• Car Park 1

Road closures on Sunday 18 May:

• Towers Way – from the security gatehouse to Car Park 9
• Rutland Way – behind Rutland and Hazlerigg Buildings – this will be controlled access only for Event Workforce, Officials and Emergency Services
